When doing my research on lady gaga I came across some of her designers the main one that catches my interest was Alexander McQueen his work is unbeliveble I find it mind blowing. His work sells itself it reminds me of sculptural fashion work that is three dimensional. It is attractively appealing the pieces are normally structurally solid and well made. I can tell this by the way he produces his work. He combines a varity of different materials to make his own piece of art. And that's what I would say about a lot of his clothes that are not very wearable for day to day life they are peices of art. Because they are made to stand out and be individual.this is why I love his work. I also see he work really well with fur and layering. You would definitely feel superior and confident in one of his garments I think.
I wanted to carry on with the theme of color with this project but add speed and light to develop some more ideas. i was thinking out the additional topics when I took the photos. Using this method helped me to create colour explosions ( like fireworks, bright and beautiful )and being able to capture the movement in the existing colours of the photography, was important for me since i wanted to give off this effect. My reason for taking these photos is that i can enhance my ideas from the last project ( colour )and add to it. I got some inspiration when looking at believe it or not lady gaga since she is a risk taker when it comes to fashion garments and i thought why not challenge myself and make a outfit out of Light coulor and possibly speed.
