Robert Rauschenberg 1967–1978
He
was originally known for being Milton
Rauschenberg who lived in Texas in 1925. The first interest he had in art was
by chance it just so happed that he visited a gallery and took a automatic
appeal to the culture of art. However at this moment in time he served as a
mental hospital nurse in the U.S navy for the last years of World War 2. Later
on in his life he decided that Robert would be more suitable for his first name
as a artist as it is more formal.
He studied in a variety
of places in his life such as:
·
Black Mountain College in North Carolina.
·
The Art Students League in New York
·
Kansas City Art Institute
·
The Academie Julian in Paris,
·
Black Mountain this is where he found his influences.
